***Special Note*** Any De-Shedder type blade rake should be used with care to avoid irritating your dog's skin. This type of tool is most appropriate for coarse textured coats, such as the Labrador, Rottweiler, Pug; Terrier breeds such as the Airedale, Cairn, Lakeland and Jack Russell. The De-Shedding Blade Rake is good for Double coated breeds too. You would not want to use the tool on curly or longhaired breeds. This tool is especially useful in peak shedding seasons in the spring and fall.
