The tool does a decent job for combing the dog, but it is hyped quite a bit. It's not as awesome as some have claimed. I guess I had higher expectations of it from reading the reviews. It removes a lot of hair from the dog and is good along the back and sides, but I think other brushes we've had did better on the legs and our dog liked them more for that part of his body. He does seem to enjoy having his back combed more with this brush.
It's a good sturdy product and I think it will last a long time, probably longer than cheaper brushes. Also I think the handle design is better, heavier and more comfortable than most brushes we've had. The teeth of the comb are substantial and can get down deeper than the cheap brushes with the fine wire bristles.
The vendor delivered it quickly and I was happy to get the brush at a significant discount and not have to pay shipping. I wouldn't pay $31 for another one though.

We have two dogs and I was tired of not being able to sit down so I wouldn't be covered in hair. They both sit still when you brush them. It's something fun to do while watching tv and they get a shiny coat.

I love it! It does what it says it will do and works great on all dogs. We have a Lab and a Goldendoodle and it works great on both.

I bought this thing after reading all the reviews, and it was well worth the $35! We have a lab/retriever mix, and his shedding has constantly been an issue. There has been a constant layer of hair that covered our floor, couch, cars, clothes, etc. I don't know how it works, and I don't think he particularly likes it, so we have been doing it for only about 2-3 minute sessions, but each combing results in a huge mound of hair. He doesn't act like it is painful, and he does particularly like even being brushed with a regular brush. But nothing has ever worked like this. I think this is going to be the answer to our problem!
